Every free gift card program has a Terms & Conditions link. (If they don't then it's probably trouble - stay away.)
Once you've assessed the promotions that are part of the Program Requirements, view the Terms & Conditions. You don't want to be surprised when you sign up for 2 Discover cards that only 1 will count. You don't want to be surprised when they tell you that must refer 2 people who also complete the program before you get your gift card. You don't want to be surprised. Additionally, inside many of the Terms & Conditions is a way of contacting the free gift card provider - the company running the promotion. When you see this contact information in the Terms & Conditions I recommend contacting the company via email or letter (snail mail). Ask them to provide a full listing of the program requirements in writing. When contact information is not provided in the Terms & Conditions then you will have to hunt elsewhere for either contact information or a full program requirement listing. This can be pretty time consuming so make sure you really want the free gift card or (free laptop, free PSP2, etc) before spending the time digging through their site. |
