There are a lot of free gift cards on the internet today. Some are scam; some are legit. Some are legit but just aren't good deals.

The Free Gift Card Rating System

Let me briefly describe the rating system. Most of the gift card offers out there (that are not scams) require program participation. Participation involves a lot of free and low cost trials for sites like Gamefly, Netflix, and others. Our initial research indicates that most of these programs require the completion of Silver, Gold, and Platinum level offers and that the offers at each of these levels are very similar if not identical.

Given that most of these sites require the same participation levels and the largely the same offers at each participation level we have developed a rating system based on the estimated dollar value vs. the required number of program offers. Our rating system automatically forces the majority of free gift card offers to have a 3 star rating.

The benefit to you is that you know that 1 and 2 star offers are probably not worth pursuing. And 4 and 5 star offers are extremely good. Since the majority of offers are 3 stars then there is some variation within that rating where some 3 star offers are good enough while others are almost 4 stars.

How do I tell which Gift Card is a good deal?

At the Free Gift Card wiki we've developed a proprietary rating system based on higher level mathematics to determine the best gift cards. We compare their dollar amount to program requirements. Based on this we can assess the value to effort ratio and assign a rating to the gift card.

Remember most free gift card offers are just average (3 stars). The 4 and 5 star offers are really good deals..
